I took care of something today that I've been putting off for a long time, stubbornly hoping the situation would simply resolve itself if I worked hard enough at it. I realized something:
Admitting you have a problem is the easy part.
Admitting that you can't take care of the problem yourself can be close to impossible.
Reminds me of those episodes of "The Cosby Show" where Cliff stubbornly tries to fix the doorbell, plumbing, tile, etc. himself.
