To add some variety to your life, try going off sugar/caffeine/alcohol/hard drugs cold turkey and watch the kids morph into raving lunatics before your eyes.
ReplyDeleteSandra, I think you've known me long enough to know that:
ReplyDelete(a) My kids have always been raving lunatics. That's what makes them so adorable and fun!
and
(b) I so don't have a caffeine problem!
;)
Hey, people who go on vacays with their husbands to CA don't get to complain. :)
ReplyDeleteWho says I'm complaining?!?! This is a scientific, factual statement of the disadvantages of my current situation. A simple pros and cons list, with the pros. Missing. Sheesh, people!!! :-D :-D
ReplyDeleteHey Juliana, this top ten list is fantastic. I used to work at home and understand the feeling. Not sure what the cure is, but I've Mom's form a network of other Mom's that they can rotate watching each others kids. That way you get some time alone to get out of the house and whatever you want, even if for a couple hours. You can post this to our site http://www.toptentopten.com/ and link back to your site. We are trying to create a directory for top ten lists where people can find your site. The coolest feature is you can let other people vote on the rankings of your list.
ReplyDeleteI TOTALLY thought so too, when I was going through it with little ones. My only advice is, "Hang on by the skin of your teeth", and post funny blogs. :)
ReplyDeleteStart planning things to do with your kids-- something different everyday. You are in charge. Go on field trips to the zoo, park, mall, store, library, feed the ducks, etc. Read books and stories and interesting things to your kids, you'll learn a lot too and have fun. Sing with your kids and play fun music and dance. Do things with them that are fun for you. Good luck.
